Profile
I build large-scale systems — curious about distributed systems, philosophy, and human behavior.
Senior Software Engineer at Vanilla, owning architecture from PostgreSQL to Kubernetes.
Campo Grande, Brazil.

Work
Estate-planning platform. Full-stack in React/Vite and Ruby on Rails, plus AI pipelines with Bedrock and Claude — owning architecture from PostgreSQL to Kubernetes.
Data Store Platform team: critical distributed systems — PostgreSQL and Kafka — in Go, supporting hundreds of internal teams.
Cloud & platform team. Kept an internal service at 170k requests/min and ran infrastructure for 8,000+ product developers.
Full product cycle across front-end and back-end, mostly JavaScript and Ruby.
Writing
How Mercado Livre monitors and prevents failure across its microservices.
On the nature of money and the consensus problem blockchain solves.
The essay the TechX talk grew out of.
Bora
Find a match, split the court fee, pay by Pix — all inside the app, so nobody chases anyone for money afterwards.
Expo and React Native on the front, a Hono API behind it.
Split payments: one court, several payers, and a booking that must not confirm until every share clears.
Imovel90
Estate agents paste the listings they are comparing against, and get three prices back: sell fast, sell within 90 days, sell without hurry — each with the odds of closing at 30, 60 and 90 days.
The engine is deterministic and auditable — comparative method by factors, NBR 14653-2, plus a liquidity curve. The AI only reads the listings and explains the result; it never picks the number.
Next.js and Prisma on Postgres, with Claude doing the extraction and the write-up.
Assinatura de Contrato
Sign a document online and get an audit trail anchored on Ethereum, so the timestamp is verifiable by anyone without trusting the signer.
Ruby on Rails, running on AWS.
Anchoring cheaply: writing every signature on-chain costs real money, so the trail hashes in batches.
